
To introduce Volvo’s first fully electric car to the UAE with a concept store that would be a first of it’s kind globally, and set the tone for the future of all Volvo retail stores.
Volvo and the UAE government share an environmental vision for 2030 and sustainability and climate change are at the forefront of both of their agenda’s. We needed to create a space which not only provided a platform for viewing their new car but tapped into the company’s commitment to becoming fully electric.
The Other Guyz designed and produced the ‘Volvo Studio’ – a unique space for viewing the all-new Volvo XC40 Recharge and to come together and engage in thought provoking topics around sustainability and climate change.
The media launch event was attended by high profile guests, the Swedish Ambassador to the UAE and the VC of Al Futtaim, Mr Omar Al Futtaim along with the Volvo team and global media outlets. The car reveal was coupled with an impressive laser projection and keeping in line with the brands strategy, there was a sustainable music act to keep guests entertained throughout the event.
